Who Was The First Disney Princess?
Did You Know!
One interesting fact about the Egyptian pyramids is that the Great Pyramid of Giza was originally covered in casing stones made of highly polished Tura limestone, which reflected sunlight and made the pyramid shine brightly. This dazzling exterior would have made it visible from miles away, giving it the appearance of a "gem" on the horizon. Over time, many of these casing stones were removed for use in other construction projects, but some can still be seen at the base of the pyramid today.
