President Trump had the crowd reacting after a protester interrupted his speech at a rally in Gastonia, North Carolina. Trump stopped mid-speech, asked to see the heckler, then realized it was a woman and joked that she was “going home to mama,” adding that her mother was probably watching on television and furious. He then caught himself before finishing another punchline, telling the crowd, “I won’t say it,” which drew even more reaction from the audience.
