Who Discovered Penicillin?

🌳 A Hidden Nuclear Secret Beneath Connecticut
👉 The state was once home to a nuclear power plant that’s now completely gone—almost without a trace.
The Connecticut Yankee Nuclear Power Plant, located in the small town of Haddam, operated from 1968 to 1996 and was one of the earliest commercial nuclear plants in the U.S.
What makes it fascinating:
- After it shut down, the entire facility was fully dismantled and removed
- The site was cleaned so thoroughly it was released for unrestricted public use
- Today, it looks like ordinary land—no visible sign a nuclear reactor ever stood there
👉 In fact, unless you know the history, you could walk right through the area and never realize it once housed a working nuclear reactor.
