Did You Know!

One rarely known fact about the state of Washington is that it's home to the world's first gas station. The world's first purpose-built gas station, the "Pay Station," opened in 1907 in Seattle, Washington. It was established by John McLean and operated by the Union Oil Company, offering gasoline for sale to the public for the first time.
