🐟 Louisiana Once Had a “Fish Rain” — and It’s a Real Phenomenon

In December 2021, residents of Texarkana, Louisiana reported fish falling from the sky during a rainstorm — and it wasn’t a prank. This rare weather event, called animal rain, happens when waterspouts or strong updrafts suck small aquatic animals into the sky and drop them during storms.
