What Is The Capital City Of Brazil?
Did You Know!
🌲 Washington State Once Had a Hidden “Underground City”
After the Great Seattle Fire of 1889, much of Seattle was destroyed. Instead of rebuilding at the same level, the city raised its streets to fix drainage problems—burying the original ground-level buildings underground.
For years, businesses continued operating below while new streets were built above them, creating a hidden network of tunnels, storefronts, and sidewalks.
👉 Today, parts of this underground world still exist and can be explored on guided tours—making it one of the most unusual historical features in any U.S. state.
