Walmart CEO Doug McMillon stated to President Joe Biden that they are expected to have a very good holiday season. His statement comes as many company CEO's met at the White House to discuss their plans for the holiday season.

McMillon left his statement rather vague but has sparked hope for an economic rebound in the near future. Sales over the Thanksgiving weekend have increased dramatically which has helped out the economy. Walmart shares remain unchanged after the CEO's statement but many Americans believe that this may be the rebound of the economy.

Sales over the recent weekend have rose 14% in total which has given many Americans hope for the economy going back to normal. Most of these sales were online due to fears of the coronavirus.
