President Donald Trump stopped to speak with reporters on the tarmac at Joint Base Andrews while holding printed materials highlighting two claims his administration is touting as major victories. Trump displayed an article reporting the sharpest drop in prescription drug prices in 60 years, along with a printout celebrating 15 consecutive months of zero releases at the southern border. Clearly pleased with the numbers, Trump turned to the press and asked, “Are you impressed?! Is anybody impressed?! You are!” as he showcased what he described as evidence of progress on two major issues affecting Americans.
