This comes after Democrats announced their plans to tax wealthy individuals and businesses by a larger amount. Yellen stated that the United States has been in a very difficult period since the start of the coronavirus pandemic and needs to make a rebound.

She stated that the bill will bring a positive effect on the economy and jobs will be readily available for those who need them.
