Should Reptiles Be Kept As Pets?

There have been many debates on whether reptiles such as snakes and lizards should be kept as pets or should just be free in the wild.

Many of those who own these as pets state that they should be kept as pets even though they have a chance of harming the caretaker. Others state that they should not be kept as pets and should remain free in the wild.
