Oregon has the only state flag in the United States that has different images on each side.

• The front shows the state seal, a heart-shaped shield with an eagle and wagon — and the words “State of Oregon” and the year “1859.”
• The back features a gold beaver, Oregon’s state animal, on a navy blue field.
