How Larry Bird Got The Last Laugh On His NBA Rival
NBA legend Larry Bird showed off his trademark wit after Patrick Ewing joked that he'd miss the chance to “bust his butt” following Bird's retirement 34 years ago today. Bird immediately fired back with a classic response, pointing out that Ewing had already had eight years to do it and joking that he couldn't stick around a lifetime waiting for him.
