    Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh has stated that he has tested positive for the coronavirus. He has been fully vaccinated since January and so has his family. His test result comes just before a ceremonial swearing-in for Justice Amy Coney Barrett.

    Due to his results, he will not be able to attend the swear-in for Barrett. The next term for all justices is on the 4th where all justices will hear oral arguments for the first time since the pandemic.

    All justices were tested on Monday including Kavanaugh. The test results for all justices came back negative.

    A new study shows that magnetic brain stimulation can help enhance a persons memories as they get older. This means that enhancing memories can be achieved much easier to counteract the effects of Alzheimers disease.

    The study was conducted by the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom after they accidentally discovered that magnetic pulses can boost episodic memory. Episodic memory helps the brain function on a day to day basis.

    The volunteers during the research were delivered magnetic pulses to the left side of the brain at the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex. “We were quite surprised when we saw these effects in the first study, which was designed to investigate a different question,” Senior author Prof. Simon Hanslmayr, Ph.D. said.

    He added, “Therefore, we needed to replicate the effects in a second experiment to see whether this is real, and indeed, it seems to be.”
