Bears Gets Stuck In Tree In Local Neighborhood
A dramatic wildlife rescue unfolded in Albany after a black bear spent hours perched high in a neighborhood tree before finally being brought down safely. Crews set up netting and padding below to protect the animal once tranquilizers took effect. The bear was seen clinging tightly to the trunk before slowly losing its grip and falling into the prepared safety zone. Residents said the bear was first spotted around 2 a.m., and the unusual standoff lasted until nearly noon before the rescue was completed.
