Rubio said the individual remained completely unresponsive for an unusually long period, prompting roughly 90 minutes of debate over whether someone should call the doctor or risk waking the person unnecessarily. Unable to clearly detect chest movement amid the noise and activity on the plane, Rubio even began thinking about what would happen if there were actually a deceased passenger aboard. Fortunately, the mystery ended on a much lighter note: the person was perfectly fine and had simply been sleeping extremely deeply.
