The Only Concert To Cause Earthquakes

Travis Scott’s August 2023 show at Rome’s ancient Circus Maximus was so seismic that synchronized jumping by around 60,000 fans registered as a 1.3‑magnitude quake on nearby seismographs—prompting hundreds of locals to call emergency services, fearing a real earthquake. And when Scott brought that energy to São Paulo in September 2024, attendees reported that the ground literally shook “blocks away” from the Allianz Park venue, with tremors visible and felt for up to six blocks from the stage.
